Not a huge MMA/UFC fan but watch it as much as I can, from IReland and myself and the rest of the family are massive Mcgregor fans. We are all really looking forward to the up coming fight against Jose Aldo, I mean even this promo is amazing!

I'm not a fan of McGregor but I really want him to win against Jose Aldo, since I don't like that guy.

Im just glad Vitor Belfort lost. Perfect end to this whole Vitor TRT thing.

Good UFC event, one of the best in a while I'm happy with all of the outcomes, for DC & Johnson, didn't really care who would win, Jones is going to come back and win it.

I hate how Cormier won... He had his chance against Jones and he lost. Shouldve been Johnson vs Gustafson!

To me he's not the champion. Jones earned the belt and without beating him for it, it's not valid. That's how I see it.

It was good. Obviously Vitor isn't how he used to be, but is still good. He looked a lot different phyically..

Thoughts on UFC 189?

One of the best cards we've seen in a while! A lot of good fighters fought!

I had Rory winning over Lawler, and he has winning 3-1 going into the championship round. Although the shot Lawler landed was devastating. He basically got his nose shattered into his face. I can only imagine how much pain that caused.

As for Mendes vs. McGregor. Obviously Conor won, and "passed the test" as winning against a wrestler. But Chad obviously gassed, which is because of the short camp.
If he were able to keep Conor on the ground, which he would've if he wasn't completely exhausted; he would've won the fight easily, he was dominating up until that point where he was knocked out.

I guess that's what you get for taking a fight on 12 days notice!

Thought UFC 189 was awesome I had McDonald winning unfortunately he couldn't pull it off as you said that last shot was on the money and for Mendes vs McGregor I thought it was boring Mendes didn't take advantage of the opportunities he was given. Also I wanted Bermudez to beat Jeremy Stephens it was a hell of a fight I actually met Bermudez Because I was staying at the MgM for a couple of days and saw him during the weigh in he is coolass dude. Regardless I heard it was like the most viewed ufc event so far so good for the organizations I believe Jose Aldo will beat McGregor easily

I was really routing for Rory. That dude is an animal, but proved to be human. But I have to give it Lawler, he came out in the 5th round with that champion killer instinct. Just look at how aggressive he was, and we're talking the 5th round! That was such a good fight.

Chad did great for what he did do, he was just too exhausted. If he had a full camp he would've dominated the whole fight, I mean, he went 5 rounds at a fast pace with Aldo; who is one of the fastest guys in the UFC. I think Chad would win easily given he trains thoroughly.

Bermudez is a great fighter! Just hasn't had the best luck with injuries. I haven't seen much of Stephens, but he's a great fighter!

Also did you watch the fights yesterday? I didn't watch any of the prelims but Wonderboy is a beast! He's on another level. His movement is just unpredictable. I think he will be a real threat soon.
