Few days ago i posted what seemed like a failed build computer (not too worried lol)

but now ive decided just to upgrade, and i have a noob question

this is my computer now and im wanting to upgrade the graphics

does this fit in the computer? it looks like i have enough room but looks can be deceiving

Nah its a year old, i payed 800 for it, and it was only worth 900 at the time

and i have a 500 watt psu

He wants the make and model of the powersupply, Take the side panel of the your case and check.

But the 970 uses less power than the 760 so you can just do a straight swap, However if its a low quality powersupply you should look into upgrading it before it goes boom.

its actually a 550, but despite the reviews, ive had this computer for a year now and i have never had a crash, or a random shut off

That unit would suffice for use with a 970. You should be good to go.

But an upgrade soon wouldn't go a miss.

Motherboard is poor, but will do. Case isn't great, I'd upgrade that asap. I'd also be upgrading the PSU asap. That unit uses CWT OEM so not very good at all.
