The Division...
Do you think that it's going to be as good as they portray it to be?

50 Players in servers, Open World, Anyone can come up to you and join you in your journeys, People who have better gear can join and help you progress, Social Hub; where you can trade, communicate and interact with others.

Honestly this sounds like Destiny and that just turned into a box full of $30 DLC's we have to buy. Do you feel this will be the game "Next-Gen" has been waiting for or will it crash and fall like every other game released? Tell me your viewpoints, I'd love to hear from you guys!

How does this sound like Destiny in any way? What, people can have better gear than you and join your games? There's tonnes of games like that. As far as it living up to it's hype, it's too early to tell. From the little game play I've seen, it looks to be a good game.

I completely understand where you're coming from on this. In the Developer talk-about's the Developers made it sound, exactly like they did when it was Bungie talking about Destiny. You say how only the gear thing isn't quiet like Destiny. But, Majority of the details they've released are similar, but not exactly the same to Destiny.
When they first sent out the release of their developer trailer they said,"...Oh, players can make their characters personalized to themselves, No-one will look alike..." Dev's for "The Division" said the same thing,"Oh, players characters will be however they would want there players to look, during these kinds of situations...". Do you see where I'm getting at?
For "The Division" they're saying that there's a 'PLAYER HUB', where you can interact with other players. Let's think, who also said that? Bungie. They have the "Tower", where you can interact with other players.
As well as, when they first announced "Destiny" they said when they first announced the game they showed how he was walking around and found some women who was playing as a "Hunter (I think)" and he said "...anyone can walk up to you and help you out if they like to...". Also in the same trailer there were the "Events" that happen randomly. They said,"Any player who see's this event can come and join you..." This is the same as when they had the "Developer Walk-through" were the guy walked out the tunnel and then HOLY LENS FLARE BATMAN! and then he found, of course he a woman player in the game, where he said "Blah, blah, blah... anyone can join you on your quests whenever..."
I certainly hope this filled you in on where I was getting with this. Probably should have specified this in the forum itself.

I personally have hopes for it, the way they described it and shown how the game is played during E3, it looked amazing.

BUT this is Ubisoft we are talking about. Since this is focusing on online play, im sure it will take a couple of weeks if not months for them to actually have a steady game running after launch.

Thats just my opinion, but i feel like this kind of game has a ton of potential.

As far as if i will buy this game? Oh. ill be playing it the day it comes out.

I would have to completely agree. Honestly, I'm extremely excited, but I can't keep my hopes up because if it was like "Unity" my god we are all doomed for the future of games! All I want is Terrorist Hunt from Siege and The Division and it's Open World Survive-ability. If they both work out, I'll be set till we get a Open World, Zombie Survival.
