I generally dislike anyone who lives in a nice area, has somewhat decent parents and almost everything an orphan kid would want to have and yet cut themselves and act as if the world is ending over nothing. It happens a lot of them are emos. I haven't met an emo once who actually had a good reason for being depressing all the time. I actually don't care about labels. I hate anyone who is like that and I feel that life is wasted on them. Also, I found that a lot of people who act like it aren't _actually_ depressed so it makes me feel even less sympathy. I knew a lot who took on the label because it looked 'cool' or something stupid like that.

im a dude and hate anime never will watch it and I guess it all comes down to what the person likes

Most people don't like anime because they never gave it a chance. I remember thinking anime was just for kids until I watched Akame Ga Kill and felt the feels . Now I am obsessed with finding new anime. I hardly ever watch regular TV now because to me anime is much better than regular TV.

Uh, because this totally has to do with girls hating anime?

umm... have u seen a single show with a "mature" looking woman? Anime tends to over exaggerate and focus on "those" details to gain more male viewers. A girl would not wanna focus on a guy's feature because... in the end its all the same. But there are some girl focused shows... cough cough "Free!" cough cough. If the girls hate anime, then they havent found a proper genre to settle on. For me, my genre is action, but they might like mystery or something. If they like a genre on live action tv shows, then they would probably like the same on anime. Also, the majority of people have watched anime when they were kids, without realizing it was. I mean when I was in kindergarten, Yu-Gi-Oh was the thing to watch and play. Another reason girls dislike anime is because it brings out crossdressers and cosplayers. But they are just looking at anime for that, when it happens with tv shows and movies all the time. Its just the hyprocritacally that is influenced by society

Not all girls hate anime the girl I'm currently talking to likes anime (bleach,one piece etc)

If you don't like Anime don't come into this forum then.

The only reason why I'm into is Anime is because I watched Naruto when I was a kid, on Cartoon Network. Back then I didn't know that it wasn't your average cartoon. Even to this day, I enjoy Naruto Shippuden and other anime, like Akame Ga Kill or Polar Bear's cafe. I find it fascinating that I still watch Naruto after all these years, good thing they still are new episodes being released.
