Didn't even realise there was a blue light of death.

I would unplug the PS4, let it cool down.
You may of been playing on it too much, and it over-heated, I'm not too sure.

Whenever I got the red ring of death, on my Xbox 360. I would unplug the console, and leave it for a couple of hours. That would always do the trick.

Hold down the power button until it beeps twice. If you get to Safe Mode at this point then follow the safe mode guides. If your PS4 just turns off like mine did, follow on.

Wait for the console to power down then unplug your PS4. Then press the power button while it is unplugged.

It will beep and the light will flash blue, the PS4 is now discharged.

Now re-plug your power cord in and press the power button.. Your PS4 should now go white.

Plug in your HDMI and USB cord for the controller. You might not plug in the controller quick enough and the PS4 most likely will shut down.

If this happens just hold down the power button until it shuts off then restart it.
You might have to press it a couple times to fully discharge the Playstation.
