uk has some good and bad internet you just got to do research on what you like what what speeds your looking for im not from the uk but my friend is and his internet is like 5down and .57up to 1,0up like i said do research and look for speeds your or any other isp has to offer

The UK has better internet then USA/Canada

Mate that a business line. You do now that some parts of the UK can now get 1000Mbps just like Google fibre in USA.

I can agree with UK having bad upload speeds.

I'm on TalkTalk Fiber Meduim so I get 38Mb down and 1.9Mb up. The upload speed should be a bit more IMO.

I would prefer to go on to Virgin Fiber but its not available in my area yet.

You get what you pay for also different areas can effect your up / download speed also different companies have different deals.
