So I have a Cooler Master HAF X, and I have so many damn fans (installed a Kraken G10 with a Corsair H55 on my GPU today which maxed me out) that I have no more fan pins left.

So my question is, can I plug one of my case fans (not CPU fans) into some other unoccupied pins on my motherboard that aren't labeled for fans. The wire connects into the pins fine, but will it work?

While I'm at it, I do have another quick question. What things might prevent my computer from turning on? When I thought everything was all good and tried to plug everything back in and power up, it wouldn't turn on. The power supply/cord work (GPU lights turned on) but the power button didn't do anything! I opened up the case and plugged in the switch cables a little deeper, so it might work this time, but just for the future (or maybe this next attempt) what things prevent a PC from booting up?

Any answers would help a lot and be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
