ok so my friend has an arcade edition xbox 360 and i was wondering if he got another hard drive can he use a transfer cable instead of recovering his profile. sorry for the noob question i was just wondering

http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/accessories/set-up-transfer-cable <--- This website talks about the transfer cable. Your friend should be able to transfer their account with the transfer cable.
