How the **** is anyone supposed to know what happens when you die.

Here's a little insight, You die.

There is general agreement among persons of all religions that a person's eventual destiny after death will be one of the following:

*****Heaven: Eternity is spent in Heaven or Paradise with God, in a state that is beautiful beyond our ability to conceive.

*****Hell: Eternity is spent in Hell with Satan and his demons. All are tormented and tortured, in isolation from God, without any hope of mercy or relief.

*****Annihilation: The body rots. One's, spirit, memory, personality, awareness, body, and mind disappear and are no more.

*****Transmigration of the soul: Our soul and spirit are reborn into a human fetus or newborn child.

*****Reincarnation: Our soul and spirit are reborn into another living entity - not necessarily human.

No one knows, if you are religious then you believe you will go to heaven/hell. Or you will be reborn (reincarnated). If you are not religious, like me, then you just die, and nothing happens.

I agree with stressed on his comment above, though I personally believe a bit that when you die you 'imagine' a different environment, some imagine heaven, some imagine hell and what they believe it to be. That's why when people come back to life they claim they say heaven but in fact just their image of heaven. Again this is just something I think of and I could go into a lot more detail but I'm busy eating cereal

I think it is 1 of 2 things.

The first being that simply nothing happens. It is like it was before you were born.
You don't 'see' black, you don't 'feel' nothing, you aren't in existence so you essentially aren't even you.

The second is a bit more complex.
I believe in the existence of a multiverse, an infinite number of Universes all existing side by side where every possibility is realized.
My existence is a possibility, so it must be realized again, and again, and again within the multiverse.
In essence, I believe that I will simply live my life again and again and again for eternity.
Doomed to make the same mistakes, and blessed with experiencing the same victories.
Maybe I'll even get to make different choices some times.

This isn't reincarnation so much as it is just the reassembly of the atoms which make up me across an infinite time scale, over and over again.
