The open tray error sucks and I've seen everything and done everything to fix it to the extent of keeping my warranty intact. I finally fixed it and the million dollar question is how....welllll heres the thing when you turn it on all you hear is a little buzz and it tries to spin but no luck open tray kicks on..well the laser is off target meaning its on the wayyyy outer layer of the disc to where it's not even picking up that there's a disc in there. So you can't open it without voiding the warranty so all I did was get a screwdriver and a small sized ALLEN WRENCH and duct taped it to the end of the screw driver. You then open tray and a flashlight so you can see in there and then with ur tool pull on the laser frame and slide it back towards the middle of the drive and your golden..only trick is gettin the screwdriver in and out of the xbox with the tray in the way but its possible....THERE IT IS I WISH SOMEONE WOULDVE KNOWN THIS WEEKS AGO!!
