I'm trying to download a game in steam right now and my DL speed is peaking at 40 kb/s

I know this isnt a personal connection problem because in uTorrent im downloading at around 4.3MBs..

Is Steam just garbage or is there a way I can fix this.. Appreciate the help.

Make sure to choose the correct download server to the same state/region or as close as to where you live.

You can change this in the settings of Steam.
