Hey im looking to buy a good video card for under 250usd i wanna use it for gaming andi wanna be able to use ultra settnings every once in a while i have a few cards in mind but i cant decide please help

You can grab a 290 for $10 over, or a few dollars over after rebates;

The XFX 290 is much nicer though. This is of course assuming you have a decent quality PSU and enough wattage. I wouldn't run a 290 or 290x in a rig with anything less than a good quality 550W unit.

yeah i have a 750b psu and the gigabyte r9 looks good but is 1000 mhz core good? i dont know about gpu a lot

Overclock that 290, if you feel up to it and want MOAR heat, and you shall be golden.

EVGA 750B? Not a great unit but it'll do.
