What are you planning to SLI? TBH, a single 970/980 would be fine for most people

SLI'ing a 970 is not a good idea unless you want to play @ high res.

A single will play any game at high/ultra settings which should be good enough

Your letting hardware get to your head - One can never have enough epeen but seriously, 1 card should be suffice.

Hush you, SLI is fab and you know it.

P.S. Stop scamming rep with that awesome badge, no fair.

1x 970 is fine though. However, it's always going to be beneficial to have SLI support, in case you will benefit from it later.

To be honest, i don't know what resolution i will be using as default at that time, i can use 2715x1527 now on a single 660. But enough of SLI, that's a topic for the future.

Would you be able to suggest a motherboard and CPU for under 270 then please?

Only need it to be able to overclock.

I'll only be able to have one 970 for a while, i don't think i can afford to get 2 at the same time, you see i am a simple 16 year old who has no job. XD
