This is my first car I've bought with my own money. It is a 2004 Mazda RX-8 with the 6 speed manual. My list of mods are below:

AEM Cold Air Intake
Moshimoto Radiator & Fans
Agency Power Mid-Pipe & Power Pulley
MAGNAFLOW Cat back Exhaust
Exedy Stage 1 Pro-Kit Clutch
Black Halo Racing Lightweight Flywheel
Exedy Oil Catch Can
New NGK spark plugs & wires
Aftermarket DRL's
18" Konig Lightweight rims

I love this car as my first car. I'm a big car enthusiast, and wanted a cheap but fun car for my first one. That's why I picked the RX8. I spent 6k on the car, and 3k on the mods. My car has 113k miles, and its still running pretty well. I wanted something that I could not worry TOO bad about wrecking and being destroyed. That's why I didn't opt for a 15 or so thousand dollar used car or 30k new one, just because they're faster. My car isn't terribly slow. I took it to a track and got a 14.57 @ 97mph on my second run. First was a 14.6 @ 95.8mph. I have no official 0-60 time, but I recorded it a couple of times and the best I've got is a 5.6. Usually I get anywhere from 5.7-6.0. So she's not too terribly slow. Handles amazingly. I treat her like a rotary should be treated, topped of oil every couple fillups, make sure she's warmed up before turning her off, redlining constantly (which is amazing at 9k rpms), etc. I love this car. Let me know what you think of her, and any questions just post em (: Thank you!

The spoiler was put on by the guy who had the car before me. I would rather buy performance parts than too much on looks, so I just tossed it off and said it can wait. Didn't feel like buying a new trunk, another spoiler, and paint. There's not too many more parts I want right now, so I'm defianetly looking at removing the wing.

Good to see someone else with a rotary

Heard some pretty bad things about the renesis but heard they fixed them in the later models so yours would be good and considering the miles it seems fine.

If you ever have the money you should rebuild and bridgeport it. Would sound awesome.

dude pm me your going to have put money in the car i own a 05 rx8 with 60000 miles and the first thing i did was change the leading and trailing sparks the plugs, wires all of that you can find on ebay for 111$ thats what i did and then your coils are going to need replaced with how many miles are on the car there about 400 and the car should be golden but you will get a engine light if the sparks were not changed and change the oil every 2800 miles and dont get synthtic oil the cheap kind if good for this engine but im in a rush and you should know not to turn the car off while its warming up or you will flood the engine a dealership did it to mine and its the worse feeling and make sure your air intake is tight all the time or your rpms will bounce but any more questions add my skype its joeykush614 m8

The spoiler doesn't really seem to match, but if you like it!
Have you topped it out yet? if so at what?

I think some red/black rims would really make it look better, you should look into it!

Like I said, the spoiler is just there for the sake of one right now. I'm defiantly getting it changed soon. Haha. I've hit 152 in the car. But I have been told by a couple rotary specialists that with a good tune, and the limiter removed, and a turbo or supercharger packed on for more HP, this car can hit 170. And they estimated 160 w/o forced induction, but it would put extremely heavy strain on the engine.

And no, I'm not planning on spending too much money on appearance. I'm putting 1200 for a new trunk, new spoiler, new front bumper, and the paint and then I'm done with looks for now. Thanks for the input though! If I do decide on new rims, I would defianetly consider red/black! Thanks!
