I'm not in here to really promote my new channel but what are the best ways to get your channel that boosted start it needs? I play call of duty and will be uploading other games as well but I want to know what you guys think it takes? Here's my channel if you're interested though!

First, get a better editing software,
nobody wants to see text from Windows movie maker.
Second, that quality nobody wants to see black lines around your video.
Once thats done, tell your friends to tell their friends and so on and so on.
Then wish the best, you only have a small chance of getting big
when your starting YouTube in 2015.

like the guy above said , no body likes movie makers so i would suggest something like Sony Vegas or premier pro.you need to remember these programs are complex there for your going to need to commit and learn how to use these/watch some tutorials.
you need to spend and put alot of time into editing , this means spending hours photoshopping and video editing things other people may enjoy.try and be as confident as you can , this make you seem stronger and the audience will enjoy listening to you more!
the guy above (sorry i forgot your name while typing this) is quite right yes it is 2015 , how ever if you come up with original ideas that people may enjoy , getting big on youtube wont be a problem.
have some faith and prove your worth watching and im sure the subscribers will come, how ever it will take time at first so just be patient!!!!
