Sorry didnt mean it like that. Everyone needs entertainment in their life, theres nothing wrong with people who watch television to entertain themselves. We just have different ways to get entertainment. However the only time it becomes an actual waste is when you get too much of it, or become addicted to watching it all the time and not do anything else.

i waste about 24h everyday sitting here watching anime streaming and making music and spend like 10h of sleep i would say i wasted alot of my life
