I've seen a few rants, comments and topics..

Discussing how "sad," it is that certain people have been here for multiple years and have a low post count.

Who the **** cares? Simple rant, for a simple reason. Mind your own **** business.

Post count is just a number. The people who do this are literally the ones who absolutely enjoy dick measuring contests. At the end of the day your post count is nothing more than imaginary internet points that translate into absolutely nothing in the real world. Especially, when a good chunk of them are probably in the introduce yourself section with the usual generic "Welcome to ttg, read the rules, and stay active!". Not saying that you can't genuinely welcome people to the site of course. Just that its an obvious place to boost post count for those looking to do so.

I've been here for a while now, contributed when I feel necessary and when I can actually benefit others.

I understand wanting to be popular or known, because that happens everywhere online and offline..

But I've seen rants and posts, where people complain about other user's post count. As if it matters.

Post count only matters to the mundane, it shouldn't concern anyone whether you post once per week or once per hour

Lol not really. It's usually slow around this time I guess as I frequently run into a lot of the same people in many threads.

Post count is simply a number as is the join date, if people judge you or go off by the post count and/or date is incredibly judgmental and pathetic. To insult someone over it is just as petty. It shouldn't matter I've noticed when people like me who have only 2 years talk sometimes you'll get reactions like eg; wow you're noob" "get out of here" etc... But its all honestly stupid the whole concept and it in general I hate it.

I 100% agree with you on this mate.

Then a rant complaining about a stupid rant, nice!

My thing is who cares? There's more to life than the internet.
