4440 an B85 are fine. B85 needs an update to work with 4460. 4690k is the only unlocked CPU and the only one you can OC with. You will need a Z97 chipset board to OC the 4690k. What PSU did you get? If it's shit, there is no point using it. You could keep what you currently have. If the PSU you wee given is good, you can either add an SSD to your upgrades, or grab a 4690k+Z97 board instead.

I forget what case you have. If it's ATX, get this motherboard instead of the AsRock Z97;

The PSU is shit. In all honesty, I'd stick with the 4440, B85 board and XFX unit. PSU is the heart of your PC, should be taken seriously.

But that PSU is used widely, i know most people are sponsored to make them appear better but right now i have a little crappy 10 PSU in my PC. A small 450W Vibox PSU. That's lasted me a year. I've had no problems, i may just stick with the PSU i got and get them 2 things.

Just because it's widely used doesn't mean it's good. The CX600 is a terrible PSU.
