I have 2 options. I am either getting TOTY Messi or TOTY Ronaldo. I already have a buy setup for TOTY Ronaldo but I am starting to reconsider. I could get TOTY Messi for a million less coins and $45 USD via paypal. Is TOTY Ronaldo that much better than TOTY Messi to spend that much extra? I have had TOTY Messi and loved him but.... TOTY Ronaldo.. . Just looking for some advice. Thanks!

The difference between the players arises at playstyle.
Ronaldo is the best player on the game for physicality, longshots, heading, etc. Played right, he is an absolute brute.
Messi is a lot more intricate with his abilities suited to dribbling and link-up play.
I prefer Ronaldo but whereas in previous years Ronaldo was always better than Messi, this year it depends on which playstyle you prefer for your star player

Choose 4-3-2-1, Buy regular Cristiano Ronaldo and put TOTY Robben as a RF.
The attack would be so powerful, the opponent would need a full TOTY defense to survive.

I have Ronaldo and it's hard to get him in a team and revolve the team around him cause as soon as he gets on the ball all players attack him and he gets pushed off but then some games hes a god and scores like 5 goals. His finesse outside the box though, goes in 90% of the time idk it feels broken its insane.

I have owned both players (currently using TOTY Messi) and I must say that this choice comes completely down to play style.
Ronaldo is a beast, but he just did not work for me. I had him in a squad with TOTY Ramos, TOTY Kroos, and a few other OP players, I felt an immediate handicap while using him. Personally, I can't feed one single player the ball everytime (like Ronaldo requires in some cases).
Messi is the complete player for me. I play him alongside Aguero and TOTY Di Maria as my attacking force and it truly is unbelievable. His dribbling and feeds to other players is spot on. I like to through-ball over the top quite often and skill, but I just feel like Messi does it so much better for me.
