Looking to upgrade my CPU.
Would this processor be compatible with the rest of my specs?

No. You'd need a new motherboard. If you upgrade your motherboard anyway, you'd be better switching to Intel. You can only upgrade to an FM2+ CPU without a motherboard upgrade. Since you don't have a dedicated GPU, you'd be better upgrading to an A8 or A10 APU. That will cost significantly more than a 6300 though, you could possibly grab an A8-6600K within your budget.

I'm not sure if your mb has integrated graphics. Either way, an Athlon would be a graphical downgrade. You clearly don't have much, and not enough for a valid upgrade. Save your money for a good dedicated GPU, and then upgrade CPU.
