thanks guys can i have some input as to why you believe my build would be garbage? i will not run an outdated intel i5 id prefer to stick with amd. both the builds you guys had me view were smaller and less capable of the one i built for around the same $$$. the only thing i dont have listed is a ssd the reason being is i have a 750gb ssd sitting in the closet so i didnt add to price of build.

Extra $40 for 4690 over 4440 isn't worth it at all IMO. Your original build is trash. PSU is shit, case is horrific, CPU on a dead socket and an unnecessary amount of RAM.

Um, u wot m9? You won't run an i5 that's 2 years newer than that 8320? Why is that? AM3+ is an old, out-dated, dead socket. An i5 will blow an 8320 out of the water. If you're gaming, i5 is more than enough. If you need more threads, for stuff like editing/rendering, Xeon fo' sho'. I'd grab the Xeon anyway since you have the budget, whether you're just gaming or not.

Ok first of all the 8320 was released October 2012 and the 4690 was released May 2014.

The 4690 Is a much better processor and the 8320 has no upgrade patch unlike the 4690.

The 970 out-performs the 280x.

Your PSU is a PoS.

Definatly no need for such a big case.

yeah rant over.
