That's a poor rig for your budget. AM3+ is a dead socket and a 270x is pretty low-end for an almost $800 system.

As for the keyboard and mouse you can pick both up for like $10 to get your started with, or scrap the ODD as in this day and age you won't probably even need it.

I'd also advise going wired.

What CPU do you suggest? Seeing as this will run anything that I would like.

$10 more expensive than your original build.

I either want to OC an AMD or just get an i5..
Like an i5 4950 or AMD 8350.
CPU boss put a slight edge on the i5.
Cutting down on price I could just use the 8350 but like you said the AM3 is a dead socket.

You could get a z87/z97 Chipset motherboard and an unlocked I5 if you wanted to overclock? You want to try and avoid the AMD route for your budget.

"why and the hell" do you continue to post useless, and/or irrelevant shit in this section? The 970 still has 4GB VRAM, the last 500mb just runs slower. This doesn't mean it's a bad card, it's not as if this means it's going to perform poorly now. The benchmarks for the card are still true and it's still a great GPU.

OP- Why are you insistent on overclocking? It's really over-hyped IMO. It's not worth spending extra money, or sacrificing performance/quality in other components just for a little bit of extra juice from your CPU.

True. Seeing as I am a big fan of AMD I wanted to stick with their parts. I dont need an overkill system and I wanted everything I had in my regular parts. I have to run wireless. I just want a system that can run the forest, h1z1, csgo and record with it. Preferable under 750$. I know you know your way around a pc. 750 and below with my accessories in the first pc part picker. Thanks!
