"If you could travel faster than the speed of light, where would you go after you got outside of space? I know space keeps expanding but if you got past that where would you be? and would you also be god?"

The universe isn't expanding into anything, it's just expanding. Nothing can go outside of the universe becuase the universe contains everything. You are a part of the universe, so you "leaving" what you consider to be the universe would just be you expanding the universe. But, there are so many intricacies with the idea that it's not even worth going in to discussion about.

Edit* Make enough sense? or do you want more of an explanation.
P.S. No that wouldn't make you God. Why would it?

I wouldn't want to go anywhere. You didn't say anything about breathing in space.

How do you know that it's expanding into nothing?

Your perception of the universe is not the same as a scientists. I'll just tell you that right now. And it's ok. I'm no scientist, I just read a lot about this subject.
I found a video that may or may not answer your question.

The topic just came up in class as we were building a simulator for space. Sense we know nothing travels faster than light, but if something could travel faster than light, like and advanced race, would we consider them gods to us?

Going faster than the speed of light is actually achievable by contracting the space in front of you and expanding the space behind you. An interesting phenomena occurs when you do this. Time comes to a near halt due to time dilation. Also since space expands faster than the speed of light and in continually accelerating there is no possible way for us to break out of the universe.

Vex- is 100% correct. just to add a little in what world does that make you god? the definition of god is. "the creator or ruler.." You would be neither.
