So i just got my school laptop for cyber school. i like to go on other things after my schoolwork is done for the day. But my computer blocks some websites like Twitch and Se7sins. To go around this block, i set up my VPN on the laptops network and sharing center. I can go on Twitch and stuff now, but i was wondering if its ok to do. Like could the school do something about it since im bypassing their website block? I would appreciate you guys's opinion.

I think you should be good as long as they don't find out. This one kid did it at our school and set it up for all our laptops and we have had this for like a year now and nothings happened.

What kind of porn do you plan to visit and fluently watch and comment about? VPNs will save you a awkward convo with administration & yes the school can do something about it, its their property and you have modified it for your personal gain.

You will probably be fine, in my school the wifi blocks many websites so we all have VPN apps on our phones the school knows but there isn't anything they can do

well yeah, they can do something but its not like hes gonna be doing illegal stufs. and i dont think schools would be giving out harsh punishments for a vpn. its basically just "dont get caught doing something your not supposed to be doing"

Try using TOR it allows you to go on to all the sites that are blocked and hides your real IP
but it is slow xD

My friend had the same problem you need to disable iboss if I remember correctly.

If you already bypassed it then just clear history if you need to return the laptop
