Hi all,
Here's my current build.. or here was my current build. :smile: :: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] <- Friend built.

The price is ~$1,200.. my friend built it. Friend built it for me around ~$1,000.. but a Monitor and a Kerboard / Mouse were missing on it.. as my current Monitor is like, very bad quality currently and my Mouse / Keyboard are pretty poor quality as well. So that rose the price to $1,200 :frown: hmm.

What I'm Using The PC For?

Gaming essentially.. gaming & recording WHILE I'm gaming. :smile: Saving ALL of the videos to my PC for a while (not forever, just a few months). So I don't know if this uses a lot of memory or storage or what not, I'm fairly new at building and putting together parts for my PC. Haha.. anywho. Games I'll be playing will usually be Steam games.. CS:GO, GMOD.. games like such, The Forest. Some Minecraft too. Uhm, and streaming on Twtich 99.9% of the time while gaming. Lol, I don't want lag.. /:

1080P Monitor, Gaming Mouse, and OS Windows. :smile:

So if someone could help me build a $900 to about $1,000 PC that'd be great.. Thanks. (Or Edit my current build >.<)

Your current build should handle most games with ease.

A good quality Gaming Monitor will cost around $200-$400, a good gaming keyboard will cost around $100. The monitor and keyboard are really the only things that "need" to be replaced.

$10 over after rebates and what not;

Recording can take up quite a bit of space and game installs are beginning to get pretty huge so I'd definitely suggest a 2TB HDD.

I edited your build a smidge. :b My friend just purchased my old PC for $100, lol. Gives me the $25 of breathing space on this edit. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Would the Video Card work with the Motherboard?

Maybe stick to what I suggested. You've gone over your budget with that build. 4690k is an unlocked CPU but you won't be able to OC on that motherboard so it's a waste. As you'll be recording and what not, the Xeon would be beneficial over the i5. Keep your current mouse and keyboard. The CM Storm Devastator bundle is not great, it's a membrane keyboard and far from a "gaming mouse". Just get the build now and save up for a decent mouse and mechanical keyboard.
