Is it possible to still get Gold Guns for Online play when you are 15th Prestige in Combat training?

i just tried the custom class and clan tag mod and it didnt work both times and i did it step by step and i know what im doing cuz i modded my gt in MW2.. do you know if it is patched or can help me?

so you have to sign in when u get to multiplayer or it only works offline?
