still need a credit card, I used to use a Bancore one, but I dont have a 2nd number to use to get another CC, and all the apps i tried never worked. so this does help, as long as you have a CC

I keep getting emails from CrunchyRoll about 30 day trials, I had a 3 Month premium once. So now I just use these free 30 days trials they keep sending me.
