Well today I went snowboarding, but it wasn't like any day snowbording, today I got to bring one of my best friends. Why is this so special? Because he starts his second round of chemo tomorrow. The day before he starts each treatment I take him to do something cool as shit and today happened to be snowboarding. I've been snowboarding for years so its nothing for me, but it was his first time. For the rest of this I'm going to refer to him as "B". Alright cool, so we skateboard all the time, especially in the summer time because we stay at the same beach all summer. I also taught him to surf so this is a plus for snowboarding. Anyways I had faith in him so I skipped teaching him on the bunny hills and took him on the larger slopes. This particular trail was the longest on the mountain, but it was also really wide. It was a real struggle for him so we eventually made it to the bottom and I taught him the basics; balance, position/stance, edges, stopping, turning, etc. and a few minutes late he was ready to go back up. Got on the lift and partook in some 420 actions, then we got off... We strapped up made it down and idk how but it only took that run and he was up and going for the rest of the day. I always film him skating down the shore so he said he would film me a little so we set up shop and got some clips. I have the go pro and the only way I can look at the pictures is if I connect to my phone through bluetooth but I couldn't do that because we were listening to music on the pill. Soooooo we couldn't see the videos we were taking but when I got home almost all of the clips were facing to high.. it was so deflating but its whatever it was still fun. With the 3 clips that were on spot I made a little edit that was pretty chill in (Ill put the vid below). All together it was a really fun day. TBH I have no clue why I wrote this but why not I guess.
