Ok, so I still LOVE playing CoD5, even though I have CoD7 Black Ops, Black Ops is good and everything but I am banned for modding so yeh...

So when I play CoD5 I get a load of kills etc, win games, losse games etc but when I like turn exbox off,. dashboard it, go to main menu, anything that takes me away from the exboxlive part, I get this message.

It appears as though the persistent rank data for 'Mrwilliams01' has been corrupted. Your rank has been restored to the most recently stored backup: Commandar Lvl 65 Prestige 10.

This wouldn't be a problem if when I got into a 10th lobby I got all the attachments and stuff so that when I earn one it dosn't dissapear when I get the message.

What I Lose:

Any attatchments I may of earned.
Any score data.
Time played goes back to normal.
Classes go back to what they where.

If anyone had this problem, friend did and they mannaged to fix it, can you please help a guy out? even if it didn't happen to you and you have any ideas, can you please tell me? everything is appreciated, I really don't want to keep getting reset, cheers! I will rep if you give me the thing that fixes w/e!!

When you were in the lobby, what prestige did you choose? That could be the issue.

its because one of your leaderloards goes negative and it flags up and sets you back to the rank you were before you went negative 8)

It's impossible to go down prestige's on CoD5, You will get the same error.

so you were 10th and chose 10th? It should be fine then. The only reason why I know that happens is because you can't choose a lower prestige and some people can't choose 11th. Those are the only two reasons I know. Sorry.

Does this mean I am stuck like this? and my leaderboards are neggative on score but can't that change? I haven't got all attatchments etc and I want them to stay, I can't even change my class D:
