To see your monitor's native resolution, check the display settings in Control Panel.
Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.
Click the drop-down list next to Resolution.

Wand wrote I would go with the first build, you don't need to invest so much into your power supply haha. I like the first one because the GPU is better and you included an SSD.

EDIT: Change the 1x8GB stick into 2x4GB sticks. Unless you plan on adding another 8GB stick.

iIrritate wrote If u chose the first build i highly doubt that u would get far with only 120 gigabytes of storage. I would personally go with the second build with a few changes but its up you.

That is not his HDD, that is called an SSD which can give you better boot times if you only put Windows on it.

HDD = Hard Disk Drive
SSD = Solid State Drive

Yes i know what a SSD is and the second build includes a SSD. He/she only has one 120 GB SSD in the first build, thats not very much storage, he should atleast have 1 TB of storage, and i hope your not serious saying that a GTX 760 is better than a GTX 970.
And while yes he doesn't need to invest so much money in a PSU he should still get a good PSU and not cheap out in that are AT ALL. Please study up before you treat me like i know nothing about a computer, Thanks.

No need to be rude dude...
I didn't know if you knew because it sounded like you thought the 120GB was all he had.
Again no need to be rude I'm trying to be friendly.

Im not trying to be rude, it just makes me mad when somebody comes and treats people like they know nothing. And if he chose the first build he literally would only have 120 GB of storage. Sorry if i hurt your feelings but please read the OP's whole post, because both builds had a SSD, and please dont give the OP bad advice(The 970 beats the 760 everytime). Again sorry if i sound rude.

And my bad I thought the OP included a HDD in his build that I recommended but I guess not haha.
