So i have been using Google chrome lately and it has randomly installed extensions. It usually happens every two or three days. I will be browsing then it will add random extensions and mess up the search engine. Pretend i search Hello it will come up with a bunch of random ad websites at the top of the search. Is there a way to fully remove these extensions, i have removed them today or i think so... But i want to be for sure so any help would be useful. The main thing that has been appearing in my Google chrome files specifically in places such as: C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

Thank you i have been so mad at this issue due to it randomly happening.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
Click Tools.
Select Extensions.
Click the trash can icon by the extension you'd like to completely remove.
A confirmation dialog appears, click Remove.

Unless this is a virus, this should get rid of them.

If you want to get rid of ads get the extension called adblock,
it helps, unless u have a virus.

ADblock only blocks ads.. Not malware.

Do what Imagine- said, or if the extensions do not go, then it is probably adware, which can be removed, by Adware Cleaner.
