Some of the more well known users of TTG, IMO tend to act like they are far superior. A fraction of them treat other members unfairly and are just plain rude.
I am not saying all of them, there are plenty of friendly users as well.
I just don't understand the power hungry assholes.

I will agree to you on that. The shoutbox, users tend too troll new users who come into the shoutbox. It's beyond annoying and needs dealt with. It's pushing member's away.

I agree, but I don't think they mean anything by it, just messing around

The people who you call 'assholes' are respected for a reason.
For example, people think that Asymmetrical is kind of an asshole, why? Because he says what he thinks, and won't lie to you to make you feel good. I have a very high respect for him as a member, and a man in life. Even though I don't personally know him.
Now, what members are you talking about?
The only members I can think of that pretty much everybody knows are the staff members, ImmortalGengar, TDK, JimboSlice, Famous_Energy, McNuggets and a few more. I don't think any of them are 'assholes'. They are very nice people, and great to talk to.
