I currently have a 550W PSU and it's not enough to power my whole system with a few external harddrives. I need an upgrade what is the best psu for the money?

Sorry ive been at work, my budget is around ~$60 give or take $10.

My system is an FX-6300 OCed to 3.9GHz, dont know the brand of my cooler (was used without a logo sticker) an r9 270 OCed by almost 100 MHz and about 50 mhz on the mem with 8GB 1866 ram, a 250GB ssd, a 1Tb hdd and a 300GB hdd. Along with the usual peripherals and ive got 2 external hard drives. Neither of the ext hard drives work and some larger flash drives arent read aswell. Its not the usb plugs or the ext hard drives because theyve been tested in other conputers.

All this running on a 550w cm psu. (Might be 500w cant remember)

Id say go a little above your budget and get this.
It will run everything and allow for mor additions for the future if you plan on expanding. I always end up upgrading stuff lol.

550w is fine for a system like that unless the model is junk. If you could read the model number off the PSU itself it would help a lot.

If it's a certified PSU then 500/550w is perfectly fine.

A XFX 450 Pro could run that rig with ease...

You don't need 600W you just need a decent unit...
