What the hell is a Winchester motherboard? Isn't that an arms company?

Depends on the slim motherboard type.

this isn't the first person I've seen mention Winchester motherboards. I think what they are is a rare type of motherboard which is found in like 2 out of 100 consoles. Nothing special about them

First off, if I am not mistaken, the Winchester boards were found in circulation 2-3 months ago. They are made with a similar build compared to the Coronas, but they cannot be RGH'd due to the absence of a few points. There was a post a while back by one of the sellers, it's pretty much only in the newest limited edition 360's.

Second, I would not recommend modding consoles, as you seem to have a very limited idea or experience for that matter, and you could easily break a console in the process of modding it. As for the CR4 Trinity, it is overkill, and is completely unnecessary. A Trinity could do just as well with a CR3 Lite. For a good starter console, I would recommend a Falcon, as they are the cheapest for their reliability.

If your going for a slim I recommend a cr3 lite chip to start off with as soldering is not as easy as it looks in the videos I promise you that. And if you go for a phat console buy a rev c. The only reason for this is because you would feel sh*t if you spent loads of money on these chips and ended up breaking stuff

I believe Winchester is the motherboard after Corona v6, when TX tried to write ECC to the NAND it RRODed, it's not exploitable right now.

But it is a real mobo.

Aha, turns out you're right. There is a Winchester motherboard, here's some stuff about it.

Credits to TX.

Honestly the only consoles worth glitching are Trinity and Corona v1-4.
