I was trying to install the jr programmer qsb and I think I possibly burned one of the nand points ? I tried powering on th console and it works fine ? Does this mean I'm fine ? . I didn't carry on with installing the jr programmer due to I don't have the right tip on my soldering iron

We can't really tell you anything unless you provide some pictures of the install.

No, they dont look burnt, but try not to hold onto the for so long because you may not have long left before they do get burnt.

AxG wrotedo this take some 90% rubbing alcohol and a Q tip and clean it do not pour the alcohol on it, just dip the Q tip in the Alcohol and clean the area with the Qtip should clean all the flux off there , make sure you use flux so you do not burn the points out or tear a trace from itoMew wrote We can't really tell you anything unless you provide some pictures of the install.it isn't installed, it was my attempt at tinning the points :/ here's a pic [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] something is wrong with my iron, donor hate haha. 15W is good, 25W isn't bad though. I've done LEDs with a 45 watt
