Follow this exactly and you will go into DFU mode

If you are still having problems then restart your computer, make sure iTunes is up to date, and try a different USB port/cable.

Make sure when your putting it in to DFU mode you have it plugged in the computer
If your not sure wats DFU mode is:
1: Hold the lock button for 5 seconds
2: then hold the home and lock button for 10 seconds
3: then hold just the home button for 30 seconds
after this the phone should be in DFU mode and itunes will come up with a message saying iphone detected in restore mode and then click restore and it will restore and you will be able to turn it on

If DFU mode doesn't work then you can always put it into recovery mode and restore that way.

The only fix there is to do at this point is restoring it with iTunes.

Kill it with fire.

But for real, do what everyone is saying. Restore it with iTunes. This has happened to me before. Of course before I killed mine with fire. :trollin:

Don't listen to Jake xD - anyways, I'd suggest restoring it, as stated previously by others.
Good luck.
(don't kill it with fire yet)
