It's because of the circumstances under which the phone was stolen.
He had 90,000 people watching through the phone's camera, and he was documenting the Ferguson riots which are a pretty hot topic at the moment.
This wasn't your average phone robbery and I think you know that, you just don't want to go back on what you've said.

It was quite an average robbery, and tbh if its about the ferguson riots, it should be renamed too, something like 'mans phone stolen during ferguson riots' or something along those lines.

If the average robbery is viewed by 90,000 people and occurs during a major event then yes, it's an average robbery.
If you're nitpicking the name of the post now you really have nothing to go on, just stop.

hahahahahaha i don't think that's quite what im doing, if the post is to do with the major ferguson riots that you seem to care so much about, (which it isn't) then the title should be changed that actually reflects the ferguson riots, because otherwise, it just makes it seem as if someone has had their phone stolen, stop arguing over such a pointless thing, im right, your wrong, please be quiet, im not replying again.

Wow. Are you actually being this childish? "I'm right, you're wrong!" don't throw your dummy out of the pram.

The title of the post quite clearly states that this is to do with the Ferguson riots, and even if it didn't have anything to do with the riots, someone having their phone stolen while 90,000 people are watching would probably be big enough to make the world news section without any problems.

The funny thing is, your suggestion of changing the post name to: "mans phone stolen during ferguson riots"
Doesn't sound anything like world news considering the amount of damage which has been done in these riots.

He got all of the needed information into the title. It's about Ferguson, the guy was livestreaming, 90,000 people were watching and the phone got stolen.
That's all that was needed, re-wording it doesn't change the story which is actually what people look at on this section, not just the title.

Ah. You're one of those people. The cop did his job. They have 1,000s of pages of evidence to back the cop up. All the family had was sketchy eyewitness accounts, those are about as useful as your appendix.

It was being Livestreamed. Meaning that while it was recording, it was pretty much already on the internet. Just like when you watch a Livestream on Twitch. Its real-time so everyone can see while its happening.
