I tried the gun store fireing range casue I was gunna do a vid on it and I couldnt get it to work like I killed myself when the yellow timer was at like 1 second and when I spawned I didnt get it!

Yes to get the Railgun you need to beat the story. Problem is that only the story mode has it. So you cannot play with it in MP.
