Hi,

I broke my phone a month ago and replaced the screen the other day but when the screen was broke I had to push the top right corner so I could see the screen for about 20 seconds then it would go a weird colour. I put a new screen on it and it's a black screen, it vibrates when switching to silent, so it's obviously turned on. Anyone know what it could be.

Thanks guys.

Try holding the home and power button for around 20 seconds.

If that doesn't work disassemble it again and check all your connections.
If everything is connected properly take the screen off completely and check all the flex cables for tears or kinks.

If all the flexs look fine then its either a defective screen or the LCD panel was damaged during installation.

If you want to post some pictures of the screen, the flex cables, and the area of the board that has the plugs I might be able to better figure out the problem.
