Jailbroken my iphone and just learning all the basics, im struggling to change the lockscreen, ive downloaded a theme and have selected it on winterboard but it isnt changing

any help?

it might not be available to your version of iOS, if you download a theme for iOS7 when you run iOS8 it most likely won't work
