So here recently I've been seeing a few people with gold clantags on advanced warfare multiplayer and I was wondering how they got it if clan wars hasnt even started yet?

You still rank up your clan if you play with fellow clan members.

Clan ranking works the same as ghosts, you play with a clan member, it ranks the clan up. It's just they've been having problems with the ranking system atm, and are currently working on the problems.
