Not all people have trinity's.
Some peoples console's take type 1 and some take type 2. Trinity's take both type 1 and 2.

I had no issues using unconverted KVs when I modded online. Is this a new thing? I had two slim KVs that I extracted myself and they worked on my phat jasper.

Most people need to convert their KV's when they're flashing them onto their NAND. If their console doesn't like it, then it will poop.
