The world news section of TheTechGame

To be clear this isn't exactly a rant, but more of a query as I didn't no anywhere else to put it. So the query in hand is that I'm not too sure why the world news section of ttg is full of actual world news on all. I know that your thinking, well, because it's a news section so what else is going to be on it, but the reason it kind of irritates me every time i go on the world news section there is absolutely nothing to do with gaming on it.
If people wanted to hear about world wide breaking news they have the tv or the internet but I am under the assumption that this is a gaming specific forum based website so why aren't people actually posting about the world of gaming, yang recent updates and the sorts, and yes I know that the front page of ttg has a news feed dedicated to it but that just sparks up a bigger question, and that being why do we have both the front page and the world news section.
I really don't care that up but I noticed this from the day I joined ttg and haven't said anything about it but it has gone on too long for someone not to mention it.

This site isn't entirely "gaming" specific.
Sometimes, its just easier to go to that forum, and see what topics are there, as you have a large selection of titles. You can find stuff on the forum that you didn't even know about. Some stuff is on sites that you see, some isnt. There are some posts that I didnt even know about, or some news websites I didnt even know existed.

It isn't entirely gaming specific, your right but I see nothing relating to anything else that is platformed on this site such as news in the design world or news in the hardware industry. How comes?

The Gaming/Technology news is posted here mostly Stories_Archive.html
The World News is just where members can put other news stories which interest them.

The website isn't entirely gaming specific plus its easier to find out the news via ttg than leaving you laptop/pc to go and watch the news. I personally quite like the world news section

If you want gaming news, all you have to do is click the "News" tab in the navigation bar.

They say that variety is the spice of life and by having the world news section on this site it does indeed give us more variety.

The World News section is a forum based on reality news and not really gaming
The tab news at the top is were all news about gaming is mainly posted
I love the section If I am honest, Use it alot & some people may not watch the news or see it on the internet, a gaming site always doesn't have to be just specifically about gaming.
Look at other forums > TV/Film, World news, Music forum,sports forums, highly used & successful
