I signed in today and I've been permanently banned for two weeks. I did nothing wrong which irritates me the most. Anyway, does your gold membership get used up? I have hardly been playing and just recently bought a 1 month to play Mw2 with some friends. Any help would be appreciated!

You obviously must have done something wrong.
Check your email linked to the xbox account to find out why you was banned.
Also yes your gold will still continue to expire as it normally would.

I got a 2 week ban from a recent player who invited people from his recent session into a modded Ghosts lobby.
I didn't know it was modded but still got banned ,so it seems M$ can ban you if you look for hacks WTF
And yes the two weeks ban will eat into Xbox live gold.

I got banned for being in a lobby with a modder in AW when I was Lv 50 without knowing there was a modder in the game

But wait, you have joined modded lobbies in the past and that makes it where you have done nothing? I am super confused. You don't get banned for absolutely nothing, this is the reason you were banned. All Xbox live will continue to run, and since it is 2 weeks your items on the account are not yet forfeit.
Bolded text is the reasons I have found.
- Utilizing unauthorized methoods to gain advantage or disrupt the competitive landscape of Xbox Live.
- Intentionally playing with someone who is using aunauthorized software, methods, or modifications.
- Exploiting a game vulnerabilities or glitches
- Network interference or manipulation
- Player feedback or complaint abuse
- Console Tampering.

why do people say they have been banned? lol if ur banned from xbox live tht means u will never be allowd on xbox live with tht profile,correct terms is suspended, not permanently banned lol
