IMO if going online is your intention, just put the KV on your HDD directory..
So much easier and quicker with little to no chances of messing up.

Anyways, great tutorial! I hope you keep this updated.

Well what else would you intend to do changing your key vault lol?

You could always swap KV and flash a retail nand back.
Then desolder all wiring and remove mod chip.
This would make it a unbanned retail console again.

In theory that should work but I've never tested.

I am following these instructions, since I upgraded my 360 dashboard rgh, resulting in not operate the DVD player (I clarify that I did with another tutorial) then I'm doing this tutorial to recover the dvd drive.

I did all the steps, including patch nand, but what I find strange is that when loading the file updflash_patched.bin in jrunner to verify, there is no information on KV info and leaves no key data cpu, etc ... Okay this?

Enter in your consoles CPU key and it will decrypt and show the correct KV info.

LOL! 're absolutely right, thank you !!

Hopefully I can recover my console reader, I have tried several things to no avail. If it works in my case I report immediately;)

I am totally grateful to the author of the tutorial, I can solve my problem, if I could invite him a beer.

I like how after I did this step for step, 100% correct, that my RGH doesn't even full boot anymore.

THANKS!

If you followed this guide 100% step by step then you wouldn't have an issue.

if you can still boot with the eject button and get Xell you can start over and try again though.
