I still havent got the update and dont plan on resetting my game to get the update either xD

Haha that's alright kiddo, here's a message from bungie:
'Pardon our dust! We are pushing a patch live today. Players will be returned to the title screen from their activities and then be required to log in to Destiny again after installing the patch. '
So don't worry, they'll be kicking you instead ^_^

What bungie said on twitter: Update 1.0.2.3 is live! You will need to log in again after returning to the title screen, but you will not be kicked from activities.
