Hey guys, I was about to hackintosh my computer via usb drive as its an AMD build, I had the OS .img file on my usb drive and I restarted my computer to get into the Bios menu and change a few settings but I'm pressing F11 which is my menu button and the screen just goes blank and the RPM speed on my fan goes right up, I've sat and waited for half an hour and nothing, anybody know why I can't access it?? Thanks guys!

You can't just boot directly into the OS installation assuming it's going to work. Hackintosh is a bugger to install, you need find out if your hardware is compatible first. Why you are even installing Hackintosh is beyond me, but each to there own. GL!

In the nicest way possible I haven't came for a lecture on hackintosh haha, I'm aware you can't boot straight into I'm gonna change to AHCI mode so it boots alongside windows 7 and then put my drive in and boot over ride... I know its compatible and I'm aware its gonna be a bugger, but I need to get in this menu to change sata type to AHCI mode... Any suggestions?

I have watched a couple but I previously used the same method/file on another PC, it's just for some odd reason my menu won't open on this... some people are saying its my monitor, others are saying to take the battery out my mobo for a minute
