Finally decided to give in to the "hype"
Watched the first episode last night and found it was a bore..
Couple of my friends said the first season is fairly boring but it gets good in the second series?
So should I stick out the first couple of boring episodes or is it not worth it?

its good , just takes a while to get into to story but there is alot of action and stuff later on it, it gets better just takes a while

With alot of these series you have to give it time.
Like reading the first few pages of a book, they are simply setting the scene and giving you a quick background.

My girlfriend forced me to watch the first couple of episodes. It was a boring experience for me too. Although I did notice the main character looked like the dad from "Malcolm in the middle" but with a lot of make-up!
Anyway I'd say watch it some more and you'll get into it. I haven't had the chance to watch past the 2nd episode because I don't have the time.

Give it time.
I personally don't agree with the whole first episode is boring viewpoint (manufacturing drugs, going on a drugs raid, murder etc....) seems like a lot happens to me.
Either way keep watching it is the best television show I have ever watched and has won numerous awards, also it is the highest rated show on IMDB.
Definitely give it time watch the first season and hopefully you'll change your mind.

I loved the show, stick with it. Some episodes suck, but it's mainly amazing

I don't agree with it being boring at first personally either. Everyone has there own take on things which of course if fair enough.
However, I implore you to keep with it. It does start rather slow but as the episodes go on you get hooked into it.
Watching the characters metamorphosis is great.
I'm currently watching it as we speak, season 5, episode 7. Second time through.
My opinion, the greatest TV series I've ever watched. Cant wait for better call saul!!

The first episode/season is the most boring of them all just stick with it it'll get tons better
