So I'm gonna downgrade my PS3 next week but I have a few questions.
1) the person downgrading said he will install any CFW including DEX for me.I would get DEX but I need 2 Ethernet cables to RTM.so I'm wondering is CEX stable enough to handle RTM on a regular basis?
2)Can people recommend the BEST CFW CEX and DEX out?
3) what are private console id's
4)is it just as easy to get online one DEX as it is CEX?

1.) You don't need 2 Ethernet cables, if you have a wireless laptop/computer.
And yes CEX is stable enough, I have a DEX PS3 but I always connect through CEX.
2.) Use 4.50 ITA DEX then spoof to 4.60.
3.) Private CID's are your console ID. If you get your console banned then your CID is banned, to un-ban you need to change your CID which you can do by using public ID's for free or Private ID's which cost.
4.) Yes it is as long as you know what to do.
Id suggest you watch youtube tutorials before you do anything.

From my personal experiences cex lags more but that was a couple months ago, so it might of gotten better.

Ok thanks out everyone.
I've decided to go toDEX as I've seen how easy it is to go back toCEX provided I keep my flash dumps. And the guy said he won't convert me to a CFW unless I pay 20 pounds extra
