What are the pros and the cons to upgrading to yosemite? Can someone explain? It seems like I should upgrade but I dont to know if it will mess anything up. Or if there are any major bugs that anyone has found out about.

its looks a lot cleaner to me.
Everything is flat and simple yet colorful.
So yes it worth it.
No bugs so far

I have had Yosemite on my Macbook Air ever since the public beta was released. There are no bugs that I have experienced so you shouldn't be worried in that regard.

I really like the re-design they did and glad they finally went towards a flatter layout.

I'd recommend the upgrade, you do it as a in-place upgrade so you don't lose anything at all. If you want to be cautious then you can Time Machine a backup just in case you don't like it.
